OUR STORY

The Black Horse Brewery opened in Show Low,  Arizona in May 2015.  Although newly opened, we have been brewing, testing and tasting for over 30 years.

Black Horse Brewery is a family owned and operated Micro Brewery creating and brewing high quality products for the craft beer fan. From brews inspired by old German recipes to modern and unique blends, our beer is always crafted with all-grain, all-natural ingredients for a full flavored taste.

Black Horse Brewery is owned and operated by Ralph Forney Brewmaster, Jacob Forney, Brewmaster and Marketing, and Julie Forney, Secretary/Pub Cheese maker/Beertender.

Stop into our Hole in the Wall Tap Room.  Bring your grunts and growlers to be filled with your favorite beer.

P.S.  Yes, we do love horses, but actually the name of our brewery is based on Ralph's many years of service in the United States Army as a member of  the             Black Horse Regiment!

CRAFT BREWING ELEVATED

At an elevation of 6400 feet in the White Mountains of northeast Arizona, the Black Horse Brewery is located just north of mile marker 333 of AZ Highway 260 on Burton Road in Linden, an unincorporated community in Navajo County near Show Low.

Our Hole in the Wall Tap Room is comfortable and homey with a small bar and outside patio seating.  We love to share our passion for brewing beer with our customers and when we can, we give short tours of our small brewery.

All of our beers and sodas are handcrafted on-site year round.  Check out our Beers for a full list of the seasonal and  signature craft brews.  Stop by the tap room and see for yourself what makes our CRAFT BREWING ELEVATED.
